BrightSign builds one thing only: players for digital signage. The devices have no operating system demanding updates, no fan and no moving parts. They boot in seconds, run around the clock and play 4K video, live streams and interactive content. We use BrightSign when a display has no built-in player, when several screens need to run in sync or when a site simply must not go down. The players run on our cloud software and can be monitored remotely from Solothurn – for customers throughout Switzerland.
When a BrightSign player is the right choice
Many displays come with a player, and often that is enough. BrightSign becomes interesting when you mix displays from different brands or generations, when video walls have to run frame-accurately in sync, or when a screen hangs somewhere nobody can restart it.
We decide that together with you during planning. Usually it comes down to reliability: a player that runs for years without intervention ends up cheaper than a device that needs someone standing in front of it every few months.
Video walls, touch and sensors
BrightSign players synchronise several screens over the network into one surface, drive touch displays for wayfinding and product advice, and respond to sensors: motion, buttons, proximity. That makes shop windows that react to passers-by, or showrooms where a product starts its video when picked up.
We take care of concept, cabling and programming and produce the content as well – animations, videos and templates from our graphics team. Installation and commissioning happen on site, whether in Solothurn, Bern, Basel or Zurich.
Operation and monitoring from Solothurn
After installation you see in the dashboard whether every player is online, what it is playing right now and when it last fetched content. If a device fails, we usually notice before you do.
With a service contract we keep firmware and content up to date, replace faulty players and respond within agreed times. So your digital signage network keeps running even when the branch is in Lucerne and head office in Solothurn. We have worked with BrightSign devices for years and know their quirks.

Yes. A BrightSign player connects via HDMI to almost any display, whether a signage model or a television. You get reliable playback and central control without replacing the screens or recabling.
Which software do you run on BrightSign players?
Our cloud software, which also controls Samsung, LG and Philips displays. You manage all sites in one interface. On request we set up BrightSign's own software instead – whichever suits your business.
Do you monitor the players after installation?
Yes, if you want us to. We see the status of every player, receive alerts on failures and act before a black screen gets noticed. That is part of our service contract or can be booked separately.
