Less heat, no faded stock – without building work.
IMAGEMEDIA installs solar and UV protection films on shop windows, office windows and glass façades. The films block up to 99 % of UV radiation, noticeably reduce heat in the room and take the glare off screens – installed from Solothurn across Switzerland, without building work and usually in a day.
Sunshine is good for business – until it fades the window display, heats the meeting room to 30 degrees and makes screens unreadable. A solar window film solves all three problems at once, without fitting blinds or replacing windows.
We measure the glass areas, recommend the right film – clear and almost invisible, lightly tinted or reflective – and install it with our own fitters. Films fitted on the inside last many years; external films also protect panes that are hard to reach from inside.
If you like, we combine sun protection with privacy film, frosted glass or your lettering. The window then becomes advertising space at the same time.

Can you see the film?
Clear solar films are barely visible. Tinted and reflective films change the look on purpose – we show you samples right on your window.
How long does a solar film last?
Internally fitted films last around 10 to 15 years, external ones around 5 to 10 years, depending on sun exposure. They can be removed without residue.
Does the room get darker?
Only as much as you choose. Some films block a lot of heat while letting almost all the daylight through.
Is every pane suitable?
Almost every one. With insulated glazing we check the glass build-up first so the film doesn't cause thermal stress cracks.
Do we have to close?
No. We work cleanly and section by section – before opening hours or at the weekend if you prefer.
