Online Shops

Shopify

Shopify shops for Switzerland – set up, designed and supported by IMAGEMEDIA.

In short

IMAGEMEDIA sets up Shopify online shops for Swiss companies: your own design, product data, TWINT and invoicing, shipping and integrations. From Solothurn for start-ups, shops and brands across German-speaking Switzerland.

What we do

What we do with Shopify for you.

Shopify is the fastest route to an online shop that runs stably from day one: hosting, security, payment processing and updates come from the platform, and you look after products and customers. We use Shopify when a shop wants to sell online alongside its store, when a brand has to launch quickly or when a shop should run without its own IT. Our work starts with a design that does not look like a template and continues through product data, Swiss payment methods and shipping to the connection with till, stock and accounting.

01

Shopify setup for Swiss shops

A Shopify shop is opened in minutes – but a shop that sells in Switzerland needs more: TWINT and invoicing alongside credit cards, prices with Swiss VAT, shipping with Swiss Post, legal texts under Swiss law and German that does not sound translated.

We set all of that up, import your products with variants and images, design the home page, categories and product pages and test the order process right through to the invoice. You launch with a shop that is finished – not a building site.

02

Design that suits the brand

Shopify themes are a starting point, not a result. We adapt the theme to your brand or design it from the ground up: typography, colours, imagery, product presentation. The aim is a shop that feels like your store and works as well on the phone as on the desktop.

Add product photos and copy if you need them – our graphics team works in the same building. Search engines and AI search are considered from the outset: structure, meta data, product data for Google Shopping. For customers in Solothurn, Bern and Zurich we are happy to plan the design on site.

03

Integrations, growth and support

A shop lives from the operation behind it. We connect Shopify to the till in your store so that stock levels are correct, to your accounting so that invoices are not retyped, and to newsletter and Google Ads so that the shop gets visitors.

After launch we keep supporting the shop: new products, promotions, apps that are genuinely necessary, and reports that show what sells. If the range grows beyond what Shopify handles well, we tell you – and plan the next step with you instead of keeping you locked into the platform.

Frequently asked

Questions about Shopify.

Shopify or WooCommerce – which do you recommend?

Shopify if you want a shop without your own technology that runs stably and launches quickly. WooCommerce if the shop is part of a larger WordPress website or you need full control over server and data. We advise neutrally.

Do you set up TWINT in a Shopify shop?

Yes, via a Swiss payment provider that we set up for you. Add credit card, PostFinance and QR-bill invoicing so that your customers pay the way they are used to. We test the order process right through to the credit.

Can you migrate our existing shop to Shopify?

Yes. We transfer products, customer data and orders, set up redirects so that Google rankings are preserved and test the new shop before the old one is switched off. We time the switch so that sales are not interrupted.
