Epson lives in two worlds at IMAGEMEDIA. At home it is projectors with laser light source and 4K resolution, as a classic ceiling projector or as an ultra-short-throw device that fills a three-metre screen from the sideboard. In business it is large-format printers that we know and use for posters, photos, plans and lettering. For your home cinema we handle advice, projector, screen, sound, cabling and setup; for your business, production from data check to finished print. In both cases: on site with you in Solothurn, Bern and the region.
Home cinema in the living room
An Epson projector turns the living room into a cinema without it looking like one during the day. With a motorised screen that retracts into the ceiling or an ultra-short-throw device in the furniture, the room stays a living room until the film starts. We measure the room, calculate image size, distance and brightness, choose projector and screen fabric to suit the ambient light and run HDMI and power invisibly.
Add the sound – soundbar or Dolby Atmos with ceiling speakers – and a scene that dims the lights, lowers the screen and starts the projector, at the touch of one button.
Cinema room and setup
In a dedicated cinema room in the basement or attic more is possible: dark walls, acoustic treatment, a fixed screen up to 150 inches, Epson projector on the ceiling or in a niche. We plan seating rows, viewing angles and speaker positions, coordinate joiner and electrician and set up the projector after installation: geometry, focus, colours and brightness we match with a meter to screen and room. Streaming, Blu-ray and console connect to a receiver, and one remote or the smart home app controls everything. After the first film night we come back and adjust whatever stands out.
Epson in large-format printing
On the business side, Epson is among the large-format printers we work with: posters, prints, photos, roll-ups, plans and lettering on paper, photo paper, canvas and film. We check your data beforehand, convert colours to the right profile and print one piece or a small series as needed, mount, cut and fit on request. That is part of our offer for companies, clubs and practices in Solothurn, Bern and Aargau. Questions about Epson.
Does an Epson projector work in a bright living room too?
With a laser model and a screen fabric that absorbs ambient light, yes – for sport in the afternoon and films in the evening. For a true cinema feel we also recommend blinds or curtains, which we tie into the cinema scene so that they close automatically.
Projector or large TV – what do you recommend?
Up to about 85 inches a TV is often the simpler solution, brighter and without a screen. Above that the projector shows its strength and the experience becomes more cinematic. We work through viewing distance, ambient light and use with you and show you both routes in your room.
Do you also print individual photos or posters on Epson?
Yes, one-offs too. Send us the file, we check resolution and colours and print on photo paper, canvas or poster paper. On request we mount it on board or frame the print. You can collect in Solothurn, or we deliver.
