Gira is the part of the smart home you touch every day: switches on the wall, push-button sensors with room temperature, the wall panel in the hallway, the door station with camera and intercom. We work with Gira in KNX systems and wherever a door intercom should look good and work with your phone. You choose series, colour and functions with us, your electrician fits the devices, we parametrise switches, panel and door station and make sure the doorbell rings on your phone, in the living room and on the panel at the same time.
Switches that suit the home
A smart home is only as good as its switches. If a push-button sensor is overloaded, nobody presses it any more. We define with you what each rocker should do – lighting, scene, blinds, music – and keep it so simple that guests and children understand it. Gira offers series in glass, metal and plastic for that, with labels or symbols, with or without temperature sensor.
Your electrician installs, we parametrise the functions and change them if it turns out after moving in that the cinema switch would be better next to the sofa.
Door intercom with camera
The Gira door station shows who is at the door on the wall panel, on the TV and on your phone, even when you are not at home. We plan the camera position so that faces are visible and not just hats, set up the app and connect the system to the electric door release or a smart lock. For apartment buildings and granny flats we define who sees which bell. If KNX or Loxone runs in the house, we link the doorbell to the hallway lighting and to muting the music.
Panel and control throughout the house
The Gira control panel in the hallway or kitchen brings together what would otherwise be spread across several apps: lighting, blinds, heating, door, presence. We build the interface so that the most important functions are on the first page and set up remote access so that you can see on the move whether the blinds are down. We integrate music and TV where it makes sense. If questions come up after moving in, we remain reachable – on site in Solothurn, Bern and Aargau, otherwise remotely.

Do you use Gira for a house without KNX too?
Yes. The Gira door intercom works independently of the control system in the house, and Gira switch ranges are available for conventional installations too. We tell you which combination suits your electrical installation and what can be extended later.
Can I see the Gira door station on my phone?
Yes, with the right app you see picture and sound on the move and open the door if you want to. We set that up, check the remote access and position the camera so that you recognise faces and not just shoes.
Who fits the Gira devices at my home?
Installation and wiring belong in the hands of a licensed electrician. We plan series, position and functions with you, parametrise the devices and set up panel, app and door station. If you do not have an electrician yet, we recommend one from the region.
