Denon and Marantz belong to the same house and cover everything between soundbar and high end: AV receivers for Dolby Atmos cinemas, stereo amplifiers and network players for hi-fi, plus HEOS as the multiroom platform that links both brands. We use Denon when power and connectivity count, Marantz when music and build quality matter. In both cases we take on planning, wiring, calibration and setup – in living room cinemas, cinema rooms and music rooms from Solothurn to Bern and into Aargau.
AV receivers in the home cinema
A Denon AV receiver is the hub of a home cinema: TV or projector, Apple TV, console and Blu-ray connect to it, and it drives the speakers in wall and ceiling. We plan the channel count to suit room and ambition, from 5.1 to 9.4.6, choose the receiver by power and HDMI features and run the speaker cables before the walls are closed.
After installation we calibrate the room, check levels and distances at the seating position and set the night mode so that dialogue stays clear even at low volume.
Marantz for music
When music rather than explosions takes centre stage, we often recommend Marantz: stereo amplifiers with a phono input for the turntable, network players for Tidal, Qobuz and radio, or an integrated amplifier with streaming in one box. We bring the components to your home for a listening session, listen with your music in your room and position the speakers by acoustics, not by furniture plan. We combine what belongs together – KEF, Bowers & Wilkins, Dali or what you already own.
HEOS and the control
Via HEOS, Denon and Marantz devices play together with HEOS speakers in other rooms: the same playlist in kitchen and living room, or each room on its own. We set up the app with your services, name the zones and connect the system to the TV so that its remote takes over volume and source. If Loxone, KNX or Apple Home runs in the house, we integrate receiver and HEOS: the "Cinema" scene dims the lights, lowers the screen and switches the receiver to the right input.

Do you also retrofit a home cinema with Denon?
Yes. In existing living rooms we work with on-wall speakers, slim cable trunking or installation in suspended ceilings. During renovations we run the cables before plastering. After a site visit we tell you what is possible in your room without major work.
Denon or Marantz – what is the difference for me?
Both brands share technology and the HEOS platform. Denon receivers usually offer more channels and power; Marantz focuses on sound tuning and build quality, especially in stereo. We recommend by room, speakers and listening habits, not by logo.
Will you connect my old speakers to a new Denon?
Usually, yes. We check the impedance and condition of your speakers and choose the receiver to match. It is often worth keeping good old floorstanders and only adding centre, subwoofer and ceiling speakers.
