What we do with Fronius for you.
Fronius inverters convert the power from your photovoltaic system and deliver data that most households never look at: what the roof is producing right now, what the house is consuming, what goes to the grid. We bring that data into the smart home and turn it into control: the heat pump runs when the sun shines, the car charges on surplus, the boiler heats at midday instead of at night. Your solar installer or electrician plans and fits the system itself; we network it with Zaptec, Loxone, KNX and whatever else you have in the house.
Data you can understand
A Fronius inverter shows curves and kilowatt hours in its own interface. We bring that onto one screen the whole family can read: sun, house, battery, car and grid as a flow diagram on the wall panel or phone, plus a monthly report that says how much from the roof stayed in the house. Error messages from the inverter reach you and, if you wish, us, so that an outage does not first show up on the electricity bill.
We also check whether a Fronius Smart Meter is missing, without which consumption measurement is not accurate, and agree that with your solar installer.
Steering the surplus
Self-consumption decides whether a solar system pays off – not the size of the roof. We connect the Fronius to the loads that can be shifted: charging station, heat pump, boiler, pool pump, dishwasher with delayed start. Via Loxone, KNX or an energy manager we set rules: from which surplus the car charges, when the heat pump heats up the storage tank, what takes priority when the sun is not enough for everything. We adjust that after the first few weeks with the real figures – differently in summer than in winter.
Battery, backup power and support
If a battery is added, we plan with you and the solar installer how battery, car and house interact, so that the battery does not charge the car while the grid would be the better source. If your Fronius offers a backup power function, we define which circuits should keep running during a grid outage. After that we support the networking: updates, new devices, changes to the tariff, questions about the numbers. We are on site in Solothurn, Bern, Aargau and the Mittelland region and check remotely when a message comes in.

Questions about Fronius.
Do you build photovoltaic systems with Fronius yourselves?
No. The solar system is planned and fitted by a solar installer or electrician. We come in when the system should talk to the house: visualisation, surplus control of car and heat pump, integration with Loxone or KNX. We are happy to work with your solar installer for that.
Does that work with an existing Fronius system too?
In most cases, yes. We check model, firmware and whether a Smart Meter is present, and read the data via the inverter's interface. With older devices we tell you beforehand what works and what does not.
Does it need a cloud?
Not necessarily. The Fronius data can be read locally in the house and processed in the smart home without going through a server. You can use the manufacturer's app with remote access in addition if you want to check while you are out.
